ELEMENTARY TEACHING STAFF
ASHLEE SPRINGER
Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Springer has her B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. Mrs. Springer attends Lakeview Wesleyan Church and teaches the Preschool Beginner's Church class. She has taught American Sign Language at Lakeview Christian School for 3 years. Both of her children attend LCS. This will be her second year teaching Kindergarten at Lakeview Christian School.
MARIE FORSHEY
1st Grade Teacher
Mrs. Forshey is new to Lakeview this year. We are excited to have her on board. More information to come.
LAURA PLUMMER
2nd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Plummer has worked in education for over 10 years. This is her third year as a teacher at LCS. She has a B.S. in Art from Indiana Wesleyan University and completed the course work for the Transition to Teaching program through Indiana Wesleyan.
LORENA PEARSON
3rd Grade Teacher
Mrs. Pearson has a B.S. and M.A. in Elementary Education from Indiana Wesleyan University and Ball State University, respectively. She has 30 years’ experience teaching and educating children.
CHRISTIAN HANCOCK
4th Grade Teacher
Mr. Hancock earned his B.A. in Sociology with a minor in Education from Ashford University. He has spent the last three years in public education teaching Honors Level Social Studies as well as working with the Special Ed Program. Before that he had a twenty one year career in business administration, and government finance. Mr. Hancock attends Hanfield UMC and serves on their Finance Committee.
LOIS SKINNER
5th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Skinner has a B.A. in elementary education from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has enjoyed working in education for nearly twenty years. She is an active member of Lakeview Wesleyan Church. Both her children graduated from Lakeview Christian School.
MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHING STAFF
ANISSA FOX
Math Teacher
Ms. Fox is excited to be teaching Math and Science. She has been an educator for more than 25 years, and joined the LCS team in 2016. Ms. Fox has her B.A. in Elementary Education from Purdue University. Her daughter will be an 8th grader at LCS this year.
DEBBIE HARSH
English and Bible Teacher
Miss Harsh will be teaching Language Arts as well as our Bible classes. Miss Harsh has a passion for serving middle school students and appreciates impacting students’ lives both spiritually and academically. She has over 30 years’ experience in education and has a B.S. from Clark Summit University and a M.A from the University of Indianapolis. She is an adjunct professor at Indiana Wesleyan University and has a lifetime ACSI certification.
CHRIS GAGNON
Social Studies
Mr. Gagnon will be teaching Social Studies and and serving and your student's homeroom teacher. As a part of the middle school model, homeroom will be a time to further develop a student's positive practices such as checking work, completing homework, planning ahead and organization. Mr. Gagnon not only has a love for Social Studies but experience as a Title 1 reading teacher. His ability to support and grow our students will be a great impact on LCS.

GARY CREECH
Physical Education and Elementary STEAM Teacher
Mr. Creech graduated from IWU with a degree in Recreation Management/Therapy. He and his wife, Riann, have been therapeutic horseback riding instructors for over 25 years and have a program call Hoofprints in Converse. Mr. Creech has three children and looks forward to whatever God has in the future.
SIERRA PFAFF
Music and MS STEAM Teacher
Mrs. Pfaff loves Lakeview Christian School and is always excited to see what comes next. She teaches K-8 Music and middle school STEAM. STEAM is integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math into a hand on learning experience for all LCS students.

CINDY BRASWELL
Special Education Coordinator
Mrs. Braswell has taught in various capacities for over 40 years in public, Christian, and home education settings. She graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with a BS in special Education, working with Emotionally Disturbed Children and Children with Learning Disabilities. Her M.A. from Ball State is in Special Education, focusing on children with Autism.
